FilSpec reveals a new image
We recently unveiled a brand new image to represent our company. This image reflects our know-how, our experience and our desire for continuous improvement.
A modern, meaningful
First, we revised our graphic signature and made it more modern and dynamic, just like our team and our company.
This new graphic signature represents the industrial nature of our work, the machinery and the speed of production of the wire. A graphic element containing three horizontal bands is placed at the beginning of the image and forms a whole with it.
These elements represent three fibres before they are spun together. The three bands are italicized to convey movement towards the right. The centre band is shorter than both the top and bottom bands. This accentuates movement and the three elements combine to form a graphic resembling the outline of a spool.
The bands make up a visual that illustrates the collaborative links between the three main players in fibre production: the designer, FilSpecTM and the weaver.
The type is italicized to recall the fact that the company is always looking towards the future. You can see that the letters “L” and the “F” are linked. This shows the transition between the words “fil” and “spec”. More importantly, this detail was incorporated in order to demonstrate the strong link between the wire and specialized skills. This link is at the core of the company. The detail also adds to the impression of speed and the continuous movement of the three fibres through a machine.
An evocative and promising
We chose “Spinning knowledge” as our positioning statement because the concept showcases the defining values upheld by FilSpecTM. It is concise, which creates a powerful impact.
“Spinning knowledge” serves to identify FilSpecTM as a leader in innovation. The statement explains that the company constantly reviews its practices and industry methods with a view to designing the most effective solutions and improving on past achievements. The statement identifies FilSpecTM as a company that offers and promises its clients unrivalled expertise and ingenuity in the manufacture of specialized technical textile yarns.
The French version of the statement is “Savoir réinventer” and the Spanish translation is “Saber reinventar”. Thus, we can adapt to our three main markets: Canada, the United States and Latin America. Next step, the rest of the world!
